Senior Help Desk / Point of Sale Systems Specialist

Salary Range: $50-60k Annually

Summary of Position

As a key member of The Briad Group Information Systems team, this position is responsible for all aspects of help desk administration including ALOHA Point Of Sale (POS) systems, servers, desktop systems, communications hardware/software, and office systems directly and/or remotely.  Responsible for providing first level training to junior technicians.   

***This position will require some travel, however, MUST be based in either the Scottsdale, AZ area or the Livingston, NJ area. No remote applicants, please.***

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Aloha Point-of-Sale (Table Service, Quick Service, Retail) 
    • Candidates without at least some ALOHA experience listed on resume will not be considered
  • Aloha Configuration Center and Command Center
  • 5 + years of help desk experience
  • QSR Automation Kitchen Video
  • CompTIA + Certification or work experience
  • Ability to work alone or in a team environment
  • Must have proficiency in time management and good organizational skills
  • Restaurant or Retail experience desired
  • Demonstrated knowledge in support of network printers and photocopiers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing to travel out of state as needed

  • Acts as first and second level support to the field for Aloha Configuration Center, QSR Automation Kitchen Video Software, implementing new technology, and general IT issues.

  • Shipping and receiving of hardware repair items.

  • Involve Manager with all potential hardware and corruption problems that cannot be resolved.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend support to field.
  • Interact with third-party helpdesks
  • Utilize to maximum efficiency all support tools and resources to provide excellent support to workstations and field.
  • Assist in gathering information for updating training and troubleshooting manuals.
  • Involved with maintaining file image libraries and the updating of all image files.
  • Prepares POS servers, terminals, and KMS stations for deployment.  Full configuration and testing.
