Primary Responsibilities 

  • The Payroll Analyst assists with Weekly & Bi-Weekly Payroll from beginning to end through a wide variety of payroll processing activities to ensure the accuracy of all data and calculations.
  • The role will serve as a backup to the Payroll Manager and other teammates and will be required to manage all administrative type duties.
  • Ensures that payroll policies and procedures are followed to maintain an effective control environment
  • Manages the daily data exchange between Aloha, Crunch-Time and Paycor, which includes creating one-time payment files to upload, reviewing integration errors, etc. (Wendy's)
  • Works closely with Wendy's; internal and external partners to ensure smooth transactions
  • Managing the garnishment administration
  • Manages and assists in researching payroll-related issues received through email, mail & phones
  • Audits data
  • Detailed payroll analysis
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

 

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience with PayCor, a plus
  • AS/AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, referred, but not required

 

Skills Required

  • Strong working knowledge of payroll wage and hour laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good listening skills
  • Ability to work with other departments and staff
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in problem solving
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Expert level knowledge of Excel
